[Deathtanz Mantisk]

Salkut suddenly sat up on his hammock, screaming something incomprehensible about 'strawberry-chocolate pudding'. Due to the speed he got up in, the hammock turned over, causing him to fall flat on the floor. Denim paid no attention, still staring outside despite the noisy painful groans coming from behind him as Salkut stood up. After a short moment of rubbing his back, Salkut spotted Jasper, smiling before speaking to him: "Heeeey! New guy! I say it's about time we introduuuuced everyone, no?"

Lauren proceeded to look around the deck for a moment before retreating indoors, proceeding to place some traps around the kitchen so this wouldn't happen again.

[New Dawn]

Jasper got up out of his hammock, although a little more gracefully that Salkut. "Ok." Was all he had to say as he put on his jacket and his two swords. "Well, I already know Seishin and Lau- Larry." This got a puzzled look from a few people. "Larry, you know? Oh wait, I'm thinking of a different person, silly me." He began faking a laugh and grew a sweat drop on his head. Wow that was close, hopefully that maniac Lauren doesn't recognize me. And Seishing calls me homocidal.

"Well, noooow..." Salkut started, dusting his jacket a bit and straightening his posture. "I'm the captain of theee ship! Salkut's the name! That dull moooron by the window is Denim. He's oooour current navigator and a sort of entertainer." Denim replied by lazily waving his free hand left and right, the other hand serving as a pillar to hold his jaw from hitting against the windowpane. Salkut scratched his head a bit, thinking. "Well, then theeere's Sam... Errr, Sei-something. I call him Sam siiince he's always spontaneously appearing everywhere."

[New Dawn]

"Haha, I like the nickname. Well, my name is Jasper, and I'm glad to meet all of you. I guess that I'm an artist and decent fighter. Oh and." He looks around a bit before giving up. "Well Kitty is around here somewhere and she's a cook, so if your in need of one, she's here and amazing." As he stopped talking, he sat down, waiting for Salkut to continue.

"Riiiight, right!" Salkut replied, nodding rapidly. He pointed to some random direction while continuing: "Then there's Mantis and Deo... Maaantis is our so-called swordsman, although he always saaays that he doesn't think of himself as one. Deo on the other haaand is supposedly a musician, although I'd rather listen to my own bones being crushed than his-" Loud knock came from behind the wall, followed by a faint shout: "Oi...!"

Salkut snickered, scratching his head before continuing: "Then theeere's Jerko... Our shipwright! He's this big guy who waaalks sideways. And at last - and least - theeere's our so-called cook, miss Lauren." Salkut leaned forward a bit, whispering now: "No matter hooow many times she says she's the captain of the shiiip, believe me, she's not..."

[New Dawn]

"Alright captain, I won't listen to Lauren and her wild dilusions. Well now that I know the crew, and most of the crew knows me, where are we going cap? He pulled his map out again and inspected it. In reality, he had no idea what he was doing, as he has an odd inability to read maps, so he just stood there, staring at the map that he couldn't read, waiting for Salkut's response.

OCC: Do we still have Krisco the sharpshooter? He hasn't been on in quite a while and his character might be up for deletion.

OOC: Meh, he hasn't been around for quite a while. :o I think we had another guy who was supposed to join, too, but he vanished somewhere as well.

I say let's sack the rainy day here and get on with a new one! :p

"Weeeell, it's the Grand Line. I suppose we'll go wherever the log pose leeeeads us to!" Salkut replied, looking a bit confident and somewhat happy.

Denim moved off the window by now, yawning while commenting: "Nothing's going to happen during a day as crappy as this... I say let's just all go to bed and wait eagerly for this lousy rain to stop." Salkut shrugged before leaping to back to his hammock.

[New Dawn]

Jasper too went back to bed, sleeping the day and the night away, hoping that tomorrow wouldn't be so rainly a misirable so they could get sailing to the next island. Before he fell asleep he thought to himself. Wow, I'm actually part of a crew, and one that isn't a bunch of incompetent loosers. I'm part of a crew. I belong. With this he fell asleep, haveing sweet dream until morning.

The wake-up wasn't anything too pleasant. Salkut had a bubble growing out of his nose, as suddenly it burst with a huge sound of wood cracking. The ship moaned quietly, causing Salkut to ultimately wake up. He tried to sit up, but bonked his nose to a metal pole of some sort. It had struck it's way through the wall next to him, barely missing his head. Salkut raised an eyebrow at this, struggling to crawl out of his hammock.

"Err.. Whaaat's going on?" Salkut started, looking as drowsy as ever. Denim was getting his clothes on. "I guess we're under attack." He replied, before running off. Salkut looked utterly puzzled. He rubbed his nose a bit while mumbling to himself: "...This eeearly...?"

Jasper had woken up as well with the noise, and was struggling to get his clothes on, while running to get above deck to to see what was going on. He couldn't believe that he had been in this crew for about a day and a half and they were already under attack.

Meanwhile, Kitty was sound asleep in her closet, she had slept though all the noise so far and had no intention of getting up for quite some time.
