''We don't know...but according to those pirates we encountered earlier, there is to be held some kind of festival and the prize one can win, should be quite the bomb. I deducted this out of their eagerness to avoid competition at all costs.''

Seishin now leapt up to the crow's nest in a flash, from there he continued speaking. ''But that's not the matter at hand, now is it? Who are you and where did you come from? We're at mid-sea, you know? And also,'' Seishin suddenly appeared right behind Krisco, ''what makes you think you're on this crew?''

OOC: I don't know, but I've got something against suddenly materializing and being accepted into the crew at once. I'd like you to give us at least a short summary of how you came here and then after it, you have to prove the crew your worth. XD Like, show us what you can do to help us and when we come to it, show us how strong you are, although you're bound to have some weakness, since you can't have a god character and certainly not from the beginning XD. 0.o long OOC. XD. Please don't take this as an assault ^^.

"very well, what kind of ship do you want me to help you build?"

Salkut had a disappointed, frustrated look on his face. He began poking Krisco's forehead repeadetly with his index finger, while speaking to himself quietly: "I preeeesume he's slightly lacking in the coooomprehension department..."

The ship was about to reach the island. There appeared to be several other ships around, heading there as well.

Seishin looked at the stranger for a while and repeated his question.

[Krisco]

"your ship is getting old, i sugguest you to get new one instead"

"I giiiive up!" Salkut broadcasted, waving his arms around. He turned to look at the island again, considering that they were relatively close to reaching it now. First thing that caught his attention was the enormous, bright-red ball placed in the middle of the island. "What on eeearth is that...?" He said out loud, not really talking to anyone. Denim had managed to get up, limping a bit. "Looks like a mountain. But that color is not natural..." He stated.

There appeared to be dozens of ships all around the island; most of them apparently belonging to pirates, as their sails had skulls and bones of various shape and size. The island itself wasn't all that big. It was rather round shaped, had a hill in the middle, some forests surrounding it, and the big red mountain in the middle of it all. Around the beach areas one could notice that most of the trees had been cut down. Lots of clumsy looking people could be seen moving at the largest opening cleared near the beach the Association was heading for. A horde of tents, piles of barrels, random crates and crests and whatnot makeshift huts had been placed there. Music could be heard there. Shouting and laughing as well. Not to forget the occasional screams of pain and suffering. Salkut was getting more excited than ever.

Seishin was annoyed with the stranger just ignoring him and kicked him off the ship to the shore. In a rather agitated manner he said: ''Come back when you learn how to respect other people, dude.'' After that, he turned his attention to the island itself. He activated his mantra to see what the screams of pain were for. Somehow, he caught a pretty interesting conversation.

The main points he muttered to Salkut. Something about a festival where both pirate crews and occasional marine crews could participate, with a devil's fruit at stake. Also, there seemed to be quite a punishment for losing to a marine crew team. He didn't learn if it was losing in general that brought misfortune upon the participants or just losing to a marine crew.

He also heard of a few games, but the one that he found most interesting was the 'Destroy-The-Ship' game. It was about destroying a ship as fast as you could, but with one restriction: the destroyed parts should not be sent flying, since there was a follow-up game: 'Rebuild-the-ship'

OOC: I don't think it'd be wise to meddle with Jessica as ship, since the ship is a df user, I don't think she could be destroyed or remade easily.

In any case, Krisco, I think you ought to rp your own bit for a while in this thread and try to join the crew after seeing the tournament. I think the only one participating in our crew at the tournament could be New Dawn, since he has had contact with the crew before.

Sir Krisco and Sir Jondera (I think I just slaughtered his name >.<), I think you two should either participate in an own made-up crew and join us in secret after losing (we'll just get you out of the marine hands in some nasty way) or present yourselves as men who'd try to win some money by betting on the teams.

Deathtanz, could you please tell me if you're along the same lines or if you're against what I just explained?

Seishin then noticed a ship coming at them at rapid speed.
He spun around to see what was coming.

He stared at the horizon intently where a black dot was growing and growing into a ship. The flag had a deformed skull on it, like some sort of humanfish and he noticed the ship was going so fast because of a few mermen powering it.

Salkut wouldn't wait any longer. He launched his tongue at one of the nearby ships, pulling himself aboard the other ship. The pirates aboard looked confused, suprised, and eventually pissed off. Before they could pull off any hostile moves, Salkut had already ran across their deck to launch his tongue at the next ship nearby. He was quickly advancing toward the island like this.

While on one of the ships, he stopped as he overheard a conversation between some of the pirates onboard. They had also noticed the merman ship coming. One of them, who was wearing a cap talked first: "Look's like the Fishbone School will be participating again..." His comrade nodded before replying: "Yah yah! So much for our chances of victory... Or that of any other crews, for that matter." The one with the cap continued: "It'd be foolish to join in with those guys here. They've won the contest just about every year ever since they first participated... They're just too damn good."

Salkut stopped listening as another pirate onboard started shouting something incomprehensible when he spotted the intruder aboard. Salkut ran on his way, hurling himself to another ship before they'd have a chance to harm him.

Meanwhile, aboard the merman ship...

A regular looking, relatively skinny looking light blue merman ran around, opening the door to the ship's cabin. As soon as he got, in he shouted: "Captain Lockjaw-sama! We've arrived to the Red-Nose Island...!" It was rather dark, so he couldn't see anything inside. Some feet away from the window - which let a handful of rays of light enter the room - was a hammock. A large, muscular figure could be seen lying on it; one hand on his chest, one hanging loosely so his fingertips touched the floorboads. He slowly raised his head up, staring at the roof. His face looked long and sharp. His facial features stretched slightly, and it appeared that a grin took over his scaly face.
