Appearance He has messy purple hair, rather short, short enough for the front bangs to be lifting up slightly, the ends of the rest curl up slightly, the rest of the hair being medium in length. His eyes are like pieces of amethyst jewel, as they sparkle mischievously and seem to catch and refract the light. His skin is a surfer tan and his body is that of an Athlete Musculature Build. He has an upturned nose, further adding to his mischievous look and is always seen grinning.

Personality Kano is as his nickname describes, breezy, doesn’t take situations seriouisly, believing everything will turn out alright, his voice is soft like a warm breeze and he is rather good at calming people down, this has earned him his second nickname, Peacemaker. He is continuously happy, and is often seen lounging around with a small book with no title on the leather bound cover.

Alchemy He is an Air Alchemist. Being an alchemist of the Air, he is quite versatile, as he can use his alchemy pretty much anywhere, except for perhaps space, and underwater. He has transmutation circles tattooed on each finger, his palm, and the bottoms of his feet, he often wears black leather gloves to hide his tattooed hands. He can draw transmutation circles in the air or just use the ones in his skin to manipulate air.

Likes Rice, Kimchi, Soda, Reading, Inactivity

Dislikes He doesn’t really dislike anything as far as anyone knows.

Hobbies Lazing about, chewing on straw grass, drinking soda pop while reading his mysterious books.

History Kano had a rather plain childhood, he grew up in Amestris with a middle class family. His alchemy emerged only a few years later in his teenage life, when the transmutation circles suddenly appeared on his palms. Due to his powerful and unique kind of alchemy, the State came and took him to an Institution where they studied him continuously.

They experimented on him, and tattooed his body with various transmutation circles, they sent him to kill people, they sent him off to wars, and they sent him off to be a weapon. Throughout all of this torture he stayed the same breezy him. Showing that he had strong will, but inside he was being twisted and killed by all of this.

Eventually, the State had nothing more to learn from him, and released him, only a few days later, did they redraft him into the State Alchemists, once more imprisoning him.

Well, i think 18 and a general is too much. Even if he was an experiment, they usually distrust them and give him a lower ranking.. I think that is because, how many tortured (maybe too strong of a word?) experiments are trusted by their creators or captors? Plus, 18 is the minimal drafting age, i think it was? If not, ignore that point. So it would be more believable if you had his age around 22, mb 21 onwards. Thats my opinion.

And Triezi has not specifically noted about the Age factor, which is a bit ironic!!

Actually Tip is right, at 18 you're drafted into the military so there's just not a chance he became a general in that short time particularly with his past. Again as Tip said, people tend to mistrust those they have mistreated.

Also I'm not sure whether you watch or read FMA but transmutation circles don't just appear on you, to perform alchemy you study the materials (I also believe one needs to know how the transmutation energies work on those materials but that's just my guess) anyone has the potential to be an alchemist it's just a matter of studying it.
