Character Concepts. Public Domain, take what you will.

[Sol the Sunny]

These are some character concepts that I'm not using. I would be using them, but then my crew would be chock-full of NPCs and I'd be RPing all by myself, in which case I may as well be writing a story. Regardless of my ramblings, all you need to know is this: feel free to use any of these concepts. Unless somebody else has taken them already, in which case it may not work quite so well. (Just to be safe, I recommend posting in this thread to let people know that you've taken whichever one you've taken.)

Obviously, you don't have to follow the concept to the letter. If you want to change something, change it! Once posted here, these guys are out of my hands.

Oh, and if you have a concept of your own that you'd like to offload, feel free to hijack the thread. I'm not picky.

And now, finally, the characters.

[Insert Something Zombie-Themed Here]
A kinda pale guy, maybe with red eyes. He's an expert with the (insert weapon here), but what makes him dangerous is his Devil Fruit power. He has eaten the Naosu Nauso no Mi (Heal Heal Fruit) which grants him extraordinary powers of regeneration, meaning he can recover from anything from a minor cut to a missing limb. The only way to kill him is to hit him in a spot that causes instant death (like the nerve bundle right below the sternum).

Sentai Guy
A sentai-based pirate who wears a scarf and a goofy superhero-type suit and strikes heroic poses. Couple ideas for powers here: 1) he has various types of 'gauntlets' (gloves) that give him different powers depending on which ones he's wearing, like Kamen Rider Super-1. Or, 2) he gets a massive power-up every time he eats some random fruit (like a melon). Or maybe even... both?

"Cool Johnnie"
A sharpshooter with a serious 50's rebel motif (never mind that One Piece never had a 50's...). Slicked-back hair, shades, cigarette, leather jacket, the works. Cocky, but has a good heart... or maybe he doesn't?

"Kitty"
This girl has eaten the Cat-Cat Model Tabby Fruit, which allows her to turn into both a catgirl and a cat (the former used for combat, the latter for slipping into tight places). She plays up the cat motif by wearing a bell on a collar around her neck and drinking lots of milk.

"Bard"
A guy who dresses up like a medieval bard (messed up, I know). He's a good musician, and a good fighter. The catch? His weapon is his lute, which happens to be steel-plated. Good times.

Fishman Concept A: Piranah
The ship's cook... sports nasty jaws and maybe some other kind of miscellaneous weapon.

Fishman Concept B: Angler Fish
This guy can go to the darkest depths of the ocean thanks to the weird little light on his head (bet that comes in handy in power outages). He also wields twin axheads that slip over his fingers like brass knuckles.

Poison Nurse
A pretty blonde nurse who has eaten the Doku Doku no Mi (Poison Poison Fruit) which has given her the power to exhale any kind of poison gas she wants, from a mild paralyzing agent to nerve gas.

Pharaoh Guy
A guy who was burned/wounded all over at some point in his past and has to keep his entire body wrapped in bandages. He exploits this by dressing up like an Egyptian pharaoh. He could also lasso people with his bandages.

Homicidal Clown
Your basic harlequinesque character who likes to juggle... bombs.

*pant pant* Okay, that was WAY more than I intended to post... oh, well. Take your pick, they're yours now.

Can you make some more fishmen ideas? I just can't imagine what Jaigo's supposed to look like.

Lesse...

- A squid fish-man, wielding 8 weapons (as he has 10 limbs and 2 are used as feet). Probably all cocky about how he's superior even to that uppity Hatchi.

- An electric eel fish-man that can zap anybody who touches him.

- A turtle fish-man that might be kind of like Invincible Pearl from Kreig's pirates.

- A giant grouper fish-man who could be deceptively intelligent for looking so dimwitted.

I don't know if you have already choosen one(I love the electric eel man Sol) but I just though that you might like a couple more options.

-Goldfish woman: sparkly goldfish woman who can hypnotise treaser seekers along with boys by releasing a powerful pheremone (sp)

-Anglefish: Uses the long fins on his/her back, stomach, ect. as powerful blades. Might make a good woman as they would probably be very graceful and have alot of spining moves.

-Lionfish man: The lionfish man might be very violent and rough around the edges. He could use the poisen spins all over his body as deadly weapons.

-Starfish man: (does this already exist?) Pretty basic, could use his suction cups to stick to places, bit/eat things with the mouth on his belly, and maybe have custom weapons that fit over his arms that make all his limbs deadly blades. Could also regenerate lost limbs.

-Clam man: Maybe... alot like a trutle man only slower. Could be completly coverd in his shell or maybe just has them as an armor. Could use shell as a weapon and maybe fire pearls. (That'd be funny)...

Dolphin man: (Not really a fish though) Would be friendly and fun. Could attack with ultra-sonic waves.

There you have it. If you want more i'll think them up. XD

Oh and Sol and anyone else out there, I'm going to snag his kitty idea for an NPC. Just to let everyone know.

Damn it. Now it's gonna look like I'd have ripped off the eletric eel zoan from here. :'<

Anyway, there could also be a stingray fishman, which would either have an odd-looking flat head, or a flat body in general (like a pancake), plus the whiplike tail which can be venomous.

Then there's a catfish, which could be noticed of the long whiskers (and possibly a somewhat chubby body structure). Maybe it could use the whiskers as whips. xD

A seahorse fishman - might have strong scales and a silly looking horse's head!

Pufferfish? That being someone who can either be skinny appearing, or suddenly inhale and become bloated. Uses the air stored to exhale it quickly in order to cause powerful gusts of wind; or to use the bloated body in order to soften blows and such. Larger size could also be advantegous as it could then be stronger physically. I actually use the concept myself as a female fishman already... >.<

Anglerfish as well, the large one that has the weird long filament (spelling?) hanging from it's forehead. It could be used as a source of light or something. I have no clue. :X

Crustaceans of various types, too. New Dawn already mentioned this with the clam... Hard shell - maybe some sort of strong, huge pincers. :p

Right below the sternum, there's a bundle of nerves that causes instant death if severed.

I think there should be something like that out there, since despite CP9 dudes's warnings, it appears we've yet to see one single 'useless' ability. >.<

As in, something that would make the users life horrible. Negative effects, for like. :X
