Character Bio Form, Rules, and Claimed Characters

Character Biography Form

This character form is only for One Piece Roleplaying, don't use it for a different type of RP.
Use this form to create your character. You may add more additional information to your character's bio if you want, but this is the basic stuff. Just copy and paste this into your character's thread and well, create your character with it.
Characters must be approved by the RP Moderators (Monkey D. Luffy, Suiken no Hatori, Sol the Sunny) before they can be used in any RPs. Also whenever you update your character, like if you get a devil fruit, bounty, join a new crew, or whatever, you must add that into your bio.
You may use characters from One Piece, or make your own original character, either way, you still have to make them a bio.
Character bios can be as long as you want.
Put your characters in one thread. This makes it more easier for us mods.

Bounty: (if a pirate, and if they have a bounty. You can not give you're character a bounty right away, they must earn it)
Devil Fruit: (the name of their devil fruit, if they have one.)
Devil Fruit Ability: (the ability of their devil fruit.)
Personality: (their personality)
Hobbies: (their hobbies)
Likes: (what they like)
Dislikes: (what they dislike)
Family: (their family, alive and dead)
Nakama: (their friends, if any)
Rivals: (their rivals, if any)
Heroes: (their heroes, if any)
Dreams: (their dreams, what they want to accomplish in the future)
History: (their history, what happened in their past. this is a major part of your bio)
And any additional information you want.

Character Rules

If your character contains anything against these rules, they will not be approved until they are modified.

1) Characters can not be god characters. Which means, they can't be invincible and stuff like that.

2) Characters can not have the same name as another character. This is simply to avoid any confusion during RPing.

3) Characters can not have the same devil fruit as another character, if they have a devil fruit.

-3.5) Devil Fruits also can't be simply an upgrade or degrade of a preexisting fruit, for example, a fruit that allows your character to only manipulate ice, but not create or become it like Ao Kiji. Also, a Devil Fruit that just performs a preexisting one's power in a different way is not acceptable. For example, Mr. 5 has the Bomu Bomu no Mi, allowing him to morph his mucus, hair, etc, into bombs, and you decide to make a character who can make bombs out thin air. Scenarios such as these, and other thing similar to these, wouldn't be acceptable, because they are essentially the same abilities, just with slightly modified details. If you have any questions on something about this, feel free to PM an RP Mod.

4) Also, characters can not have a devil fruit that someone in the series already has. For example, your character can't have Luffy's Gomu Gomu Fruit, because only he does. Instead, make up your own devil fruit, as long as it doesn't have the same ability as another devil fruit.

5) If your character has a devil fruit, it must be told in their history how they got it.

6) Characters can be whatever you want them to be. Pirate, pirate hunter, marine, bandit, swordsman, whatever you want. But if they are a pirate, they can not be a pirate hunter or marine, and vice versa.

7) Characters can not start with a bounty, even if they have a bounty in the One Piece series. They must earn it through RPing. When you think your character does something worty of a bounty, pm (personal message) an RP Mod. Tell them about the situation, and they will assign an appropriate action. You can't just give your character by yourself. The only acception is RPers who have the permission to assign bounties, which is only certain marines.

8) Characters from the series do not have to follow the same path as they do in the series, for example, Luffy does not have to fight Buggy or any other enemies he does in the series. They do not have to be in the same crews either. For example, Chopper can join the Bellamy Pirates instead of the Strawhats if he wishes. But the character's history, dreams, etc. must be the same.

9) Characters must be approved by an RP Mod before used. This includes NPC characters, however those will probably be more leniently approved.

One question: Is it okay to RP in more than 1 crew at the same time with the same character or do you need to create a new character than?

if you wanna be in more than 1 crew, it needs to be a different character. It is ok to have more than one crew or be in more than one crew just so long as it is a different character. 1 person can't be in two places at the same time, that's basically what it comes down to. (the only way 1 person would be able to be in two different crews is like if that character had a DF that made him able to like clone himself or something like that.)

Well first you make a character and wait for it to be approved. Once it is approved, you can join a pirate crew (if a pirate), or a marine group (if a marine). If you get accepted into the crew, you join the crew's RP thread and RP with them in that thread.
